With Ángel Di María, Sergio Ramos and obviously Jesé out of the squad, Carlo Ancelotti has decided to call up Omar Mascarell and Lucas Vázquez for the first team.
Lucas Vázquez is one of Castilla's captains. As a winger, he could fill Jesé's shoes in case Ancelotti needs to take one of the wingers off. His potential isn't great and Ancelotti would still probably play Morata or Isco in that scenario, so he might be left off the list this Wednesday, as there can only be 7 players sitting on the bench.
Omar Mascarell is a box-to-box midfielder who is having a very good season for Real Madrid Castilla. He has scored six goals and assisted his teammates three times in 29 matches for Real Madrid's second team. Mascarell could play as a central midfielder in Ancelotti's 4-3-3, but as the Italian coach confirmed in Tuesday's press conference, Illarramendi or Isco will replace Ángel Di María in the starting lineup.
