Official Report: Cristiano Ronaldo Injures His Thigh

The Portuguese player will likely miss the Copa del Rey Final

It seems that Cristiano Ronaldo will be out for at least a couple of weeks. While he could try his best to reach the first leg of the Champions League Semifinals, his presence in the Copa del Rey Final seems very unlikely. Reports indicated that he had that injury and then the club released an official statement about Ronaldo's injury.

Medical tests performed on Cristiano Ronaldo have revealed an injury to the player's left biceps femoris muscle. Pending a medical evaluation.

The best he can do is to rest this injury and recover properly. The team loses a lot of firepower without him, but Isco could play on that left wing and bring some playmaking skills. One way or another, now it's time for Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale to show what they can do. Real Madrid will need them in Wednesday's Copa del Rey Final against FC Barcelona.

We wish Cristiano Ronaldo a quick and full recovery.
