Carlo Ancelotti will need to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, and he will likely do that with Ángel Di María playing on the left, according to reports. Therefore, he will have to choose between Isco and Illarramendi for the midfield, considering that Modric and Alonso are going to start the game.
On the other side, Martino will have to deploy a weak defensive line with Batra -if available- and Mascherano playing in the center. If Bartra is not fit, Adriano will play as a centerback. Alves and Alba will do it on the flanks. Real Madrid should exploit that defensive line, especially Karim Benzema who always finds a way to hurt the opposition's center backs. The French striker will be crucial for Real Madrid this Wednesday.
Projected lineups
Real Madrid starting XI: Casillas, Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao, Alonso, Modric, Isco, Di María, Bale, Benzema
Barcelona starting XI: Pinto, Alves, Bartra, Mascherano, Alba, Busquets, Iniesta, Xavi, Neymar, Alexis, Messi
Remember that Ronaldo, Arbeloa, Marcelo, Khedira and Jesé can't play. But they will support the team!
