Champions League: Real Madrid Vs Borussia Dortmund, 1st Leg: Official Lineups

Payback time! Isco time!

Mike Hewitt

Real Madrid Starting XI: Casillas, Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao, Alonso, Isco, Modric, Bale, Cristiano, Benzema

Borussia Dortmund Starting XI: Weidenfeller, Piszcek, Sokratis, Hummels, Durm, Kehl, Sahin, Aubameyang, Mhkitaryan, Großkreutz, Reus.

We could not reach the 2013 Champions League Final because of this Borussia Dortmund team. They deserved to go through, but we still want some revenge. And we want it now. With both squads having a lot of injured players, Real Madrid still have the better roster.

It will be important to keep a clean sheet in order to enjoy a quiet game next week. The Signal-Iduna Park is always a very tough stadium to play in and I would not like to have a close game against Robert Lewandowski and company in that atmosphere.

And yes! Ancelotti has given Isco a starting chance in the midfield! Good news for him, and bad ones for Illarra.

So Ramos, Pepe, make the best out of Lewandowski's absence!
