Borussia Dortmund Late News: Weidenfeller Might Not Play Tomorrow

The German International did not play in Dortmund's victory over Wolfsburg this Saturday.

Last Saturday, Borussia Dortmund succeeded in beating Wolfsburg in an important Bundesliga game for them to ensure their qualification for next year's UEFA Champions League. Although they had a rough start, confirmed by Ivica Olić's goal, a header by Lewandowski and another goal by Reus in the second half served them to obtain a 2-1 victory.

Jürgen Klopp did not rest any of his players and used his best possible lineup but for Weidenfeller, their Jaime Lannister-look-alike goalkeeper, who didn't even sit on the bench due to an injury in his left arm. It is not still confirmed if he will be available tomorrow.

The chosen eleven were Langerak; Pisczek, Hummels, Sokratis, Grosskreutz; Kehl, Sahin; Mhkitrayan, Aubameyang, Reus and Lewandowski. The initial setup with the multipurpose Grosskreutz as a left fullback was specially remarkable, although his position changed in the second half, when he occupied Aubameyang's spot upfront, while Durm took Grosskreutz's.

Although Borussia's gameplay was not brilliant, this victory is terribly important for them, and their coach's reaction may serve you as a confirmation. They will be full of morale to play against us tomorrow, so our men should better be careful to move on to the semifinals. No matter how much we idolize Robert Lewandowski, tomorrow must not be his day.
