Karim Benzema out of the list to play against Celta

The French striker is having physical problems and was not included in Ancelotti's list.

Ancelotti wants to recover the best Karim Benzema for the Champions League Final against Atlético de Madrid. Benzema has been bothered by some physical problems on his knee lately, and that could be the reason why his performances have not been the best since the 1-0 win against Bayern, when he managed to score.

Therefore, Ancelotti did not name Benzema on his final list to face Celta Vigo (today, 19:00 CET) and will allow him to rest before the Final. Benzema could possibly miss the home match against Espanyol too, especially if Real Madrid are out of the race for the title -los blancos will not be contenders anymore if both Barcelona and Atlético win today-.

This is a good call by Carlo Ancelotti. Right now, nobody should risk a serious injury in the Liga BBVA. Ancelotti and his men need a miracle and they better focus on the Champions League Final.
