Modric in Croatia's World Cup Squad

Croatia has the unenviable task of kicking off the festivities against host nation Brazil, not to mention being lumped into a pretty tough group which also features Mexico and Cameroon. However, they certainly have the talent to make a run past the group stages as they feature established stars such as Real Madrid's Luka Modric, Sevilla's Ivan Rakitic (a potential Real Madrid target) and Bayern Munich's Mario Mandzukic.

While Belgium, and to some extent Switzerland, are seen as hipster darkhorses for this summer, keep an eye out for the Croats. Boasting a strong attack  led by the aforementioned names and potentially strong team defense, they could certainly surprise a few people in their absolutely gorgeous jerseys this summer.
