Álvaro Morata could sign for Real Sociedad on loan

Reports in Spain say that the young striker could spend the next season in San Sebastián

Real Sociedad are an exciting team to watch. They play a beautiful and counter-attacking style and have prospects like Antoine Griezmann or Carlos Vela. Furthermore, they signed Esteban Granero last summer. El Pirata is a player that every Real Madrid fan should admire. He's so cultured that every interview with him is always an interesting read. And he loves the club and has often put his madridismo before his personal desire and ambition. Granero is still a Queens-Park Ranger, but it seems that he could stay if his team is willing to spend a few million euros on him.

Now it seems that Álvaro Morata could spend next season at the Basque team too. Morata has not been an important player for Carlo Ancelotti this season. When Benzema has been out of shape and form, the Italian coach has often trusted Jesé or Isco for that role instead, and the truth is Morata has not done enough to earn those minutes. But still, his potential is good enough for Real Madrid to give him a chance on a loan deal instead of giving up on him. With Carlos Vela probably on his way back to Arsenal, Real Sociedad could be approaching Álvaro Morata this summer and reports say that the young striker could be very close to signing that loan deal.

There, Morata would have 38 games to prove he's good enough for Real Madrid. If he pans out and succeeds, Real Madrid will have a much better player for the 2015/2016 season. If he doesn't, some other club might be interested in signing him.

Morata could be a good fit for Real Sociedad's counterattacking style and it would definitely be interesting to see him growing towards Esteban Granero.
