Pepe looks perfectly ready in Real's training session, Benzema doesn't

Good news for Real Madrid's defensive line. Pepe started the training session with great intensity and appears to be just fine to start the Champions League Final. On the other hand, Benzema looked a bit sluggish, so he might be on the bench.

Throughout the whole training session Pepe completed the exercises intensely, even more than some of his teammates. Benzema was seen speaking to Varane about his problems with not a very promising face in terms of his chances to start the game.

It appeared that Benzema had the bigger chances of being in Real's lineup, but after watching this training session, the French striker can be pretty much ruled out as a starter while Pepe has almost been confirmed. Good news for Ancelotti in terms of defending, but he will likely have to find a replacement for Karim Benzema if the French player doesn't recover faster from his groin injury.
