The Italian midfielder could be Real's main move this summer, while Yaya Touré would replace Verratti in Paris.

Even though Marco Verratti has not played as well this season as in the 2012-2013 campaign, Real Madrid would've set him on top of the shortlist to strengthen the roster, says France Football. Verratti has moved to the center midfield this season, but he should be able to replace Xabi Alonso as a deep midfielder.

It now seems that Real Madrid are willing to buy some reinforcements for the midfield. Illarramendi will need to improve this summer, and Isco will only need to get used to that position. But rumors also said that los blancos were going to make a move for Ivan Rakitic as well.

According to France Football, Verratti could leave the French capital for around 30M€. Ancelotti seems determined to find a proper replacement for Xabi Alonso this summer to consolidate the 4-3-3 formation. Illarramendi has the quality, but he will have to fight for the spot next season.
