Only a week after making a mistake that could've cost Real Madrid the Champions League title, reports in Spain from Cadena SER indicate that Real's captain will surely stay with los blancos next season. Apparently, and according to that same report, his rival on Real Madrid's goal Diego López could join SSC Napoli this summer looking for a starting role.
But López's agent, Manuel García Quilón, said this Thursday that López is going to stay at the Spanish capital.
I'm surprised that people are talking about other clubs for Diego, because he's not going to move away from Real Madrid. His idea and also his family's idea is to stay at Real Madrid.
One way or another, Carlo Ancelotti might end his rotation policy with both goalkeepers, maybe leaving the Copa del Rey to one and the Champions League and Liga BBVA to the other. And that could not be enough for the second goalkeeper.
