Dani Carvajal gets snubbed by Vicente del Bosque, will miss the 2014 FIFA World Cup

The Champions League's best right back has not been called up by Vicente del Bosque in yet another ridiculous decision.

Vicente del Bosque believes Real Madrid's starting right back is not better than Atlético's, even though Carvajal played much better than Juanfran during the last few months. Only Casillas, Ramos and Alonso are on Spain's list to play the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Isco did not even make the preliminary squad.

Some expected Del Bosque to pick Carvajal ahead of Juanfran if Real Madrid won the Champions League and viceversa, but it seems that the European champions' starting right back is not good enough to be Spain's backup. Now, Carvajal will have a long summer to get ready for Real Madrid's 2014-2015 season.

Juanfran isn't better than Carvajal, and some could argue that if Carvajal was playing for Atleti and Juanfran for Real Madrid, he'd be going. Remember that Vicente del Bosque called Barcelona's Martín Montoya up when he was still playing for Barcelona's second team.

This is Spain's list:

Goalkeepers: Casillas, Reina, De Gea.

Defenders: Ramos, Albiol, Piqué, Juanfran, Azpilicueta, Alba, Martínez

Midfielders: Alonso, Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta, Cesc, Mata, Koke, Cazorla, Silva, Pedro

Strikers: Villa, Costa, Torres
