Apparently, Cristiano Ronaldo has had a relapse on his right-hamstring injury. The Portuguese player already spoke to Carlo Ancelotti about that issue during yesterday's training session but started against Valladolid anyway. On the 7th minute, he was replaced by Álvaro Morata and his visibly angry about his bad luck.
With 17 days until the Final in Lisbon, Cristiano Ronaldo should be able to perform, although his condition could not be optimal. He now has 17 days to completely nurse that injury without taking any chances, and that goes for Carlo Ancelotti as well. The Italian coach should have kept him out of the lineup as soon as Ronaldo told him the problems he was having on Tuesday but decided to start him anyway. Now, Real Madrid will have to finish the Liga BBVA without him and might face Atlético without a fully-recovered Cristiano Ronaldo. It will be very hard to keep him out of that crucial Final, but the problem might be his fitness.
UPDATED: Apparently, Cristiano Ronaldo felt muscular fatigue and left just as a precaution
