Real Madrid will likely ship Álvaro Morata away from the Santiago Bernabéu this very same summer. The Spanish striker has many offers and wants to get some minutes elsewhere, with Real Madrid keeping a buyback clause in the potential transfer very similar to that one that saw Carvajal coming back to the Spanish capital last July.
And apparently, los blancos would already have set their eyes on Antoine Griezmann. The Real Sociedad attacker just earned his first start in a World Cup during France's victory against Honduras -with a great performance by karim Benzema-. According to Mundo Deportivo Real Sociedad, Griezmann and his agent are keen to sign for Real Madrid, and the exact same thing reports Oier Fano. The Basque journalist proved to have some insight during Real Madrid's purchase of Asier Illarramendi last summer, even in those moments when thins appeared to be falling apart. Fano says that Griezmann is really excited about joining Real Madrid this summer and says that the move is "really close".
Lo voy a soltar ya. ATENCIÓN. Antoine Griezmann MUY CERCA DEL #REALMADRID. #animacomonunca1 #realsociedad. (Atentos a next week).

These two reports should be taken with a grain of salt, but Griezmann's signing would make a lot of sense for Real Madrid since he can play anywhere in the offensive line.
