Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Portugal's training session

The Portuguese astro couldn't complete the session amidst strong rumors of a serious left-knee injury that could put his career in danger.

Just the day in which El Confidencial reported some worrying news on Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese attacker left his team's training session.

The fact is that Real Madrid have every right to be concerned about this knee injury. Portugal are not going anywhere this World Cup after being dismantled by Germany, and Ronaldo is only risking his left knee before what will be a very busy 2014-2015 season for Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo should acknowledge this fact and say farewell to this World Cup. His team is simply not good enough for this tournament, and now that Coentrao will be out of the tournament, things will only get harder for his nation. Furthermore, Pepe will miss Portugal's next two games with a suspension after his controversial red card.

Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo should release further news on the player's status, but the truth is that Cristiano Ronaldo definitely needs some rest.
