World Cup Match Day Nine: Costa Rica and Italy Still With Everything To Play For.

Lots of action on day nine of the competition.

Italy and a surprisingly vibrant Costa Rica will play in the first match of the day. With the group finely poised, England fans (who saw their team fall to an inspired Uruguay yesterday) will be watching this game with interest, and hoping for an Italy win.

Otherwise, group E takes center stage today. Switzerland and France will want to fight it out for a possible first place finish while Honduras and Ecuador look for a chance to gain their first points of the group stage, neither team having managed a win in their first games.

Costa Rica vs Italy

Madridistas will be watching France with interest as Raphael Varane and Karim Benzema are almost certain to start the match.
