July 1 World Cup Open Thread

Today's schedule brings us two interesting matchups. First, ADM and Argentina will take on a talented, but somewhat inexperienced, Swiss side while 'Merica will face off against Thibault Courtois and darkhorse Belgium later today.

Honestly, I hope Argentina loses pretty badly today for a couple reasons. ADM would go home and rest in advance of the coming season, Leo Messi wouldn't taste World Cup glory and I think this Swiss side is super fun when playing to their full potential.

Also, 'MERICA. 'Nuff said.
