Toni Kroos reportedly a done deal

Marca publishes that Bayern and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for the transfer of the German midfielder

After we reported that Toni Kroos' transfer to Real Madrid was a done deal, now Marca has this on their front page. While we never talked about the transfer fee, we did say that the signing would be announced after the FIFA World Cup, and also some details of Kroos' future contract with Real Madrid. Marca report that Bayern and Real have agreed a 25M€ fee for the midfielder.

Apparently, Bayern Munich did try to keep Kroos with a huge salary raise but the German declined. Now, after Germany get knocked out of the competition, Toni Kroos will finally be announced as a Real Madrid player. This will be los blancos' first signing, but not the last, as some strong rumors keep placing Radamel Falcao in the Spanish capital for the next season. Even though they are the reigning Champions League champions, Real Madrid are trying to improve the roster with some interesting additions.
