Ángel Di María will miss the remainder of the 2014 World Cup

The winger got injured during the game against Belgium and according to FOX Sports Argentina he will be out for the rest of the tournament with a muscle tear.

Just one day after Neymar said farewell to the World Cup after a pretty bad tackle by Zúñiga, Argentina's Ángel Di María got injured as well and will reportedly miss the remainder of the tournament. FOX Sports Argentina said that El Fideo will certainly be out of the Semifinals -against Netherlands or Costa Rica- and also the Final if Argentina manage to go through.

Di María was Argentina's hero against Switzerland when he scored the game-winning goal right before the end of the extra time. And now, he will miss the rest of the tournament and will face a busy transfer market after admitting that he doesn't know what will happen with his future at Real Madrid. It should be noted that this will be a very serious absence for Argentina, since Di María is arguably -at least- their second best player.

Di María injured himself during the first half against Belgium and was replaced by Enzo Pérez.
