Cristiano Ronaldo trains with the squad

The Portuguese player seems just fine and ready for Friday's match.

Real Madrid's training session was delayed, but Cristiano Ronaldo could be seen training normally with the rest of the squad. He had to be taken off after the first half because of small problems on his left leg. Later, it was found that those niggles had to do with muscle problems, and he apprently has recovered properly. If everything goes equally well during the rest of the training session, he will be on Real Madrid's starting lineup.

Cristiano Ronaldo started the season really well by scoring a brace against Sevilla, and he should be crucial for Ancelotti and the coaching staff in order to get a much-needed comeback against Atleti. Real Madrid will likely need to score a couple of goals to turn this Supercup around, and that task will certainly be much easier with the Portuguese player on the pitch. If he doesn't start, James might be the one taking his spot.
