Bad news for Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff. Fàbio Coentrao, who finished the 2013-14 season as the team's starting left back, will be out for a while with a sprained left knee, Real Madrid announced on the official website. Even though this is a small injury, Marcelo should be the one starting this September, as Coentrao will likely aim to be back in October.
It should be noted that Marcelo hasn't exactly be great during these last few months. Hopefully he will be able to gain some momentum as he starts in Real Madrid's left back once again.
