It was already known long time ago, but Manchester United have now confirmed the signing of Ángel Di María after the player completed his medical in Manchester. The fee has not been announced, but some outlets in Britain report that it could reach up to €90 million depending on Di María's performance, goals scored or minutes played.
One way or another, Real Madrid have sold the player after Ancelotti publicly said that he wanted a move out of the Bernabéu. Considering that Ancelotti had other plans for the team's midfield -Kroos will be the starter this season-, Di María would've been a backup player, so Real's board must feel happy about the outcome of this transfer saga.
Di María was a crucial player in Real's success on the 2013-14 season. He signed for the club on 2010 -Real paid €30 million to sign him- and played as a right winger before moving to the midfield last season.
