Keylor Navas: "I had always dreamt that I would play for the best team in the world".

After being presented to the fans as a new Real Madrid player, with the #13 on his back, Keylor Navas spoke to the media for the first time in Santiago Bernabéu.

Becoming a Real Madrid player, Keylor Navas has seen his dreams come true.

Thank God everything has been really nice. It is a great step both for me and for Costa Rica. This is an unforgettable day. I had always dreamed that I would play for the best team in the world, and now it is true.

Keylor expressed his will to work hard to help the team and learn a lot, but, logically, he wants to play too.

I know Real Madrid have two great goalkeepers, as they have proved to be. I will learn a lot from them. My duty here is to train and work hard, to be available for the coaching staff whenever they need me.

I feel confident. I am not here because I bought a lottery ticket. I have proved I know how to do things properly.

Definitely, he is not worried about sharing a spot with Diego López and Iker Casillas, and the usual controversies around Real Madrid's goal don't bother him either.

I am calm. I will give everything I have inside me to improve every day and the coach will decide.

Welcome, Keylor.
