Real Madrid confident about Martin Odegaard signing

Real Madrid's board is looking forward to announce Martin Odegaard's signing for Los Blancos. According to Marca, they are more than confident about landing the Norwegian wonder kid for the next six years.

Last week, Managing Madrid reported that a deal was most likely going to happen as the player had been convinced by Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid's first team. However, Odegaard's father was skeptical until he met Florentino Pérez. According to Marca, Real's President offered him a job in the club's academy, something that turned things around and finally persuaded him.

Odegaard would join Real Madrid this next summer to complete the pre-season with the first team. Ancelotti and the coaching staff will then make a decision about his future, and while most people believe he will be sent on loan to another first division team, him staying in Real Madrid for the 2015-2016 season has not been ruled out.
