Real Madrid news January 16th, 2015: The Reus saga and some post-derby quotes

Yesterday, we spoke about Marco Reus reaching an agreement with Real Madrid, according to El Confidencial. We can neither confirm nor deny that this is true, but Hans Joachim Watzke, one Borussia Dortmund's managers, denied the rumor yesterday on Bild. We will still have to wait a bit longer until Reus' fate for the next season is official.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos spoke to the press last night after the disappointing game against Atlético de Madrid. Both of them apologized to the fans for the bad performance of the team in the game and for not having met the expectations posed on the team for the comeback, but agreed on the importance of focusing in La Liga and the Champions League, which they trust Real Madrid will be able to win thanks, in part, to a more relaxed schedule now that the Copa del Rey is over. Besides, Ronaldo also accepted that his physical condition is not optimal right now and that he is suffering some problem on his knee, but claimed that he will improve soon enough.

The LFP schedule for Days 21 and 22 has been released. Real Madrid will play against Real Sociedad on January 31st, at 16:00 CET, and will visit the Vicente Calderón to face Atléti once again on February 6th, at 16:00 CET.
