Managing Madrid reported yesterday that Asier Illarramendi could be on his way out of Real Madrid. Athletic de Bilbao are offering close to €20 million to get his talents away from the Bernabéu, and Los Blancos would happily accept that offer if Illarramendi decides to leave.
But that would not be Real Madrid's last move. Sources within the club told this site that Real would sign either Lucas Silva or Cristoph Kramer this very same winter to replace Illarramendi's minutes. There are still 10 days remaining in this transfer window and the club has not stopped looking for another midfielder just in case an interesting opportunity arises, but Real Madrid will go low-profile with Illarramendi's replacement.
Kramer signed an extension with Leverkusen weeks ago, so this probably makes Lucas Silva the most-likely option.
