It's finally official. Real Madrid confirmed via an official statement the signing of Martin Ødegaard. The Norwegian sensation, who is still 16 years old, will join the club immediately.
Real Madrid C. F. and Strømsgodset Fotball have reached an agreement for the transfer of Martin Ødegaard.
After undergoing a medical exam, the player will hold a press conference with the director of Institutional Relations, Emilio Butragueño, today 22 January at 1:30pm CET in the Ciudad Real Madrid press room.
As it has been reported throughout the last few weeks, Ødegaard will likely train with Real's first team, but he will get most of his minutes with Zinedine Zidane's Castilla, where he should be able to develop properly as a football player.
