Lucas Silva passing a medical in Brazil, announcement of his signing is imminent

According to As, Lucas Silva is passing a medical in Brazil before Real Madrid confirm his move to the Spanish capital. Even though he was the only Cruzeiro player having such medical, the Brazilian club explained that this was a routine check-up, according to this same report by As.

Managing Madrid reported yesterday that Silva was going to be Real Madrid's next signing, and now Los Blancos will need to decide what to do with Asier Illarramendi or Sami Khedira. Illarra is the one player who appears to be on his way out of the club, with Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde admitting his interest in signing the player.
