Brazilian midfielder Lucas Silva completed his first training session for Real Madrid after being presented at the Santiago Bernabéu this afternoon. In the pictures -- all of them via Real Madrid.com's Helios de la Rubia -- Lucas Silva is training with the rest of his teammates even though he was completing the pre-season with Cruzeiro.
Silva will be available for Real Madrid's home game against Real Sociedad this next Saturday, but it's true that it will take some time for him to adapt to European football and earn a starting spot. However, Cristiano Ronaldo's suspension could be seen as a chance for him to start in the midfield, as Isco or James could move to play upfront and leave one spot in the midfield free for the taking.
According to Realmadrid.com's report of this training session, Isco rejoined the squad after the muscular problems that kept him out of Saturday's game against Córdoba.
