Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Real Madrid's next two games after Spanish football's disciplinary committee decided to review the red card he saw against Córdoba and not consider it violent conduct. Ronaldo was sent off when Real Madrid were desperately looking for a game-winning goal and apologized shortly after the game. His team ultimately earned the three points.

The Portuguese star could have missed the Madrid Derby against Atlético de Madrid too had he got a three-game suspension, but he will finally be available at the Vicente Calderón on Saturday, February 7th.

Ronaldo will miss Saturday's match against Real Sociedad and next Wednesday's home game against a Sevilla team that will not be easy to beat. Ancelotti has many options to replace him, but none of them as brilliant as Ronaldo, who will now have a full week to get ready for a Derby that could be decisive for this Liga BBVA title.
