Surprise! After Ancelotti announced yesterday that Lucas Silva was ready to play and get some minutes against Real Sociedad, Real Madrid's new signing will not even be on the bench. Even though the midfielder was still completing the pre-season with Cruzeiro, Ancelotti said that he was in good condition. Luckily enough for the Brazilian player, this is just a technical decision and not minor injuries.
Noticia: @16LucasSilva no tiene ninguna molestia. Decisión técnica.

Again, this is strange because Ancelotti himself explained that he wanted Silva to get some minutes today. Still, to confirm that the player doesn't have physical problems is always good. Silva will now get in better shape for Real's next games.
Therefore, Silva will be aiming to make his debut as a Real Madrid player next Wednesday, when Sevilla visit Los Blancos. After that, Real Madrid will play the Madrid derby against Atlético at the Calderón.
