Martin Ødegaard just landed in Madrid

And he might want to stay.

Real Madrid have one of the youngest rosters out there, that could keep fighting for all trophies for some years with only a few minor changes, but it seems that our managing board, led by Florentino Pérez, are determined to establish the structure of a project to rule European football in the next decade. To do so, Real Madrid's scouts are working hard to sign the most promising prospects, and that's why we signed eighteen-year-old Marco Asensio --still on loan in Mallorca-- a few weeks ago. But that was not their last move:

Martin Ødegaard is the wonderkid everyone is speaking about right now and, obviously, Real Madrid had to make a move. He has been training with a big number of top European teams for the last few weeks, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Southampton and Liverpool, in order to make up his mind regarding his future. Apparently, it was Bayern Munich who had the lead on this, but Ødegaard's arrival in Madrid tonight is a surprising turn of events.

Reputable sources claim that he will train for three days with Real Madrid's first team and that Florentino Pérez will not let him go. In fact, some Norwegian papers report that he will stay as a member of the first squad, and that he will dress in white with the #16. While this could seem a bit weird, as he is only sixteen years old, it is worth remembering that he has already made his debut with the Norwegian National team and that he is able to do this kind of things:
