Good news for Real Madrid. Sergio Ramos and Gareth Bale are back in training and completed today's training session with their teammates. Those two players are undisputed starters for Rafa Benítez and crucial players within Real's system so Benítez surely feels relieved about having them back.
James, Danilo and Pepe are still recovering from their physical problems and while they could rejoin the squad tomorrow, their presence in the Madrid Derby against Atlético seems questionable.
If Bale and Ramos are ready, Benítez will definitely start them. Madrid's chances of earning the three points away at the Vicente Calderón are much bigger with them on the pitch. Nacho has been performing poorly as of late and Ramos' return will improve Real's defensive line a lot. Varane and Ramos are two of the strongest defenders in the Spanish Liga BBVA and Atlético de Madrid will not have an easy task against them, especially on set pieces.
