Karim Benzema had to leave France's game against Armenia yesterday with a hamstring injury which was confirmed hours ago on Real's official website.

Following tests carried out today on Karim Benzema by Real Madrid's medical services, a muscle injury in the biceps femoris in his left leg has been confirmed. His recovery will continue to be assessed.

With this injury Benzema could be out  a couple of weeks, according to some reports from Spain. Benítez might be forced to use either Jesé Rodríguez to replace the French or use Cristiano Ronaldo as the main striker. Benzema should be ready to play against PSG in the UEFA Champions League, but it would also be wise to play it safe and let him recover properly from this injury.

Benzema now joins James, Danilo, Carvajal and Pepe on Real's injury list, though Danilo and Pepe will soon be ready to play and help their squad.
