Karim Benzema picked up a hamstring injury during France's win against Armenia last week. The French attacker was supposedly going to miss around 3 weeks but Real Madrid's doctors are optimistic right now and think he could be ready to visit PSG in the UEFA Champions League next week, according to Marca.
Knowing how important that match could be for the Champions League, Benzema is willing to speed up his recovery process. However, hamstring injuries are always very tricky and it would not make sense to risk a bigger set back if he isn't totally ready to feature.
Either way, Benítez will have to find a replacement for Karim Benzema this Saturday. Depending on how that player -- Jesé, Kovacic, Lucas Vázquez or Denis Cheryshev -- performs he might make up his mind and decide whether he needs Benzema to take some risks and play at the Parc des Princes next Wednesday.
