Raúl is ready to retire and let the New York Cosmos know his decision, according to AS. The Spanish legend would like to end his football career this November and he could stay in New York helping the Cosmos' youth system, per that same report.

Many fans and reporters suggest that Raúl will be back with Real Madrid at some point and while he might not be interested in coaching pros, he seems quite ready to use his experience to teach young kids.

Raúl is 38 years old and has been a crucial player for the Cosmos. The NASL ends this November and that's why the Spanish legend picked that month to retire and hang up his boots. The Cosmos don't want him to retire just yet, according to AS, but they would gladly give Raúl a spot to coach in their academy.

It will be interesting to see what Raúl does once he retires, that's for sure.
