Real Madrid will play against Cádiz in the Copa del Rey tie. Cádiz almost managed to promote to Segunda División last season but ended up losing against Oviedo in the Playoffs.
The first leg will be played in Cádiz on December 2 while the return leg at the Bernabéu will kick-off on December 16. Cádiz are a very charismatic club with a lot of support from their fans. They've played some years in the first division but they have been struggling for a while.
Either way, Real Madrid should obviously take advantage of this draw and beat Cádiz comfortably while using some of the reserves to keep the starters fresh. The first stages in the Copa del Rey are always a good chance to rotate the squad and Benítez should not waste this opportunity.
Barcelona will play against Villanovense and Valencia will face Barakaldo in this stage of the Spanish Copa del Rey.
