Real Madrid will offer a tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo today at 13:00 CET at the Santiago Bernabéu, as the club confirmed via their official website. Ronaldo became Real's all-time leading scorer last Wednesday.
The players, Florentino Pérez and the coaching staff will be there to congratulate Cristiano.
This tribute will happen two days before the Madrid Derby against Atlético. Last year, Real Madrid let Ronaldo introduce his Ballon D'Or to the Bernabéu crowd minutes before the start of yet another Derby against Simeone's team and Atlético made the best of their opportunity by getting the win. This seems like a better time to schedule Ronaldo's tribute as it will not disrupt the players' focus.
Real Madrid have not confirmed whether Ronaldo will speak in press conference or not, so it will be interesting to see what he has to say about his future considering that he refused to confirm that he will stay with Real Madrid next season.
