Luka Modric is perfectly ready to start for Real Madrid after recovering from his injury and featuring for almost 20 minutes in Real's match against PSG, according to Rafa Benítez. The Spanish manager spoke to the press ahead of Saturday's game in Vigo and explained that they are "optimistic with Modric's condition."
The situation with Benzema might be different though. While some reports indicated that he could be recovered in time for the crucial meeting with Celta de Vigo, it seems that it would be risky to give Benzema minutes. This means that Jesé could be set to start in Real's left wing once again after his encouraging match in France. Cristiano Ronaldo could then play as the main forward.
Remember that James, Bale, Carvajal and Pepe will also miss this game with injuries. Kovacic is still questionable but he could be ready to go and help his team when needed.
