Bad news for Real Madrid as James Rodríguez will be out for three more weeks after suffering a setback on his thigh injury. The Colombian will not travel with his national team this week and should be ready to play El Clásico against Barcelona in November,
"We worked with those players who were injured last Thursday and James felt some pain in the same area of the injury. The player is not ready to feature. It's not a big injury but the goal was to bring him back as soon as possible so he could play against Atlético. We tried but it couldn't be," said Benítez during his pre-match press conference.
It seems that Isco will now have more time to prove his worth as a starter for this team. The Spanish playmaker is contributing with some good assists but his overall performances have not been as great as some expected.
