INJURY UPDATE: Will Keylor Navas be ready for El Clásico against Barcelona?

Reports in Spain suggest that his injury could be more serious than what has been reported lately.

Keylor Navas was not able to play in Real Madrid's last game against Sevilla. Los Blancos ended up losing that match 3-2 and the Costa Rican decided to spend this FIFA break recovering from this injury in order to have a shot at featuring in the upcoming Clásico.

While Marca reports today that Keylor will rejoin his teammates this Thursday completely healed from his groin injury, COPE's Manolo Lama says that Navas shouldn't have play against PSG as his injury is more serious than what Real Madrid are saying.

If he's ready, Navas should definitely be in the lineup this Saturday. His performances have been great so far and Kiko Casilla might not be good enough to defend Real's goal against such a powerful offensive team as Barcelona. Navas' groin injury could be a problem though, as that muscle is very important for every goalkeeper. Benítez and the player will need to think about whether they should take any chances with Navas or not.
