The Spanish society is worried after seeing what the Jihadists did in Paris last Friday. That was obviously their main goal, but who can blame them? El Clásico is set to be played this Saturday and two matches were cancelled last night -- one in Belgium and another one in Germany -- due to security reasons.
The Ministry of Interior Jorge Fernández Díaz said that they are "not thinking about cancelling El Clásico and I mean it. We will increase security around and inside the stadium for obvious reasons, but the circumstances needed to cancel the game haven't been met right now," he added.
Miguel Cardenal added that he wants the fans to "remain calm. The situation in Spain is no different from 15 days ago. There are thousands of people working on this and they say that it makes no sense to cancel the game," he said.
Real Madrid will host Barcelona this Saturday at 18:15 CET.
