Danilo and Carvajal are both ready to play and this has not happened since the second week of this Liga BBVA season. Until the Brazilian right-back picked up an injury with his country on the first FIFA break, he was ahead of Carvajal in Benítez's plans, but Carvajal started to play really well in Danilo's absence and appeared to gain some track until he also got injured in the Madrid Derby.
Danilo then came back from his injury but his performances have not been great. He scored and played well against Celta but other than that he hasn't been the player everyone expected coming out of FC Porto. His offensive game was a force to be reckoned with but that has not been the case since he arrived in Real.
Either way, it seems that Benítez will start him against Barcelona this Saturday. He will have to take care of his fellow Brazilian Neymar, so there's no better game to turn things around.
