OFFICIAL: CAD rejects Real Madrid's appeal but will confirm their decision next Monday

Real Madrid are officially out of the Copa del Rey. The CAD confirmed their decision after what the Spanish FF confirmed yesterday. This was Real's last hope and the CAD will meet again next Monday to confirm the decision again.

Remember that Denis Cheryshev was suspended and therefore couldn't play against Cádiz, but he started the match and scored Real's opening goal because of a mistake. Real says that neither the player nor the team were aware of Cheryshev's suspension but the CAD confirmed the punishment a few minutes ago.

Real Madrid have already lost the first title of the season and it did not happen on the pitch. Madrid should at least explain why this happened and how made this mistake, whether it was Cheryshev, Chendo or the coaching staff.

Either way, Real Madrid's schedule this January will be light and that should keep the players fresh and ready for the two major competitions in the world of football: La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
