Benítez has the trust of the board

Real Madrid are not thinking about firing Rafa Benítez just yet, according to a report from COPE. The Spanish manager has the trust of Florentino Pérez and the rest of the board no matter the losses against Barcelona and Villarreal, per that same report.

Therefore, Pérez and the directors think that the players are the ones responsible for the team's lack of success and good attitude lately.

Marcelo, Pepe and Modric admitted after the loss this Sunday that the team did not go into the game with the right attitude, but they have said that exact same thing in other losses. The team showed that they had the players and the quality to dominate Villarreal during the second half, but the lack of firepower ended up hurting the team as Villarreal held onto their lead.

Real Madrid will visit Valencia next month in what will be a crucial match for Los Blancos.
