José Mourinho has been sacked as Chelsea's manager and Real Madrid are not doing very well under Rafa Benítez, so this has started a whole series of rumors suggesting that the Portuguese could be ready to make his return to the Spanish capital after Madrid decide to move on from Benítez, no matter whether that happens this same season or next summer.
However, people tend to forget that in order for that to happen, players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe and possibly Sergio Ramos or Marcelo would have to leave the club because of their relationship with The Special One. Ronaldo himself has indicated several times that he would be willing to play for Mourinho again, but it would not be wise to have them both on the same team once again, and the same happens with the players mentioned above.
The Portuguese is a big personality and one that would most likely change the club once again, for better or worse. Benítez still has the support and trust of his board but it appears that Real Madrid would like to appoint a new coach at the end of the season, with Zidane and Mourinho himself named quite often.
Mourinho claimed last Monday that his players "betrayed (him" during recent months, suggesting that as the reason why Chelsea were performing so poorly.
