Jesé Rodríguez played well during the pre-season and proved that the knee injury he picked up during the 2013-2014 season is more than healed, so it would appear that the Spanish attacker was set to enjoy some relevant minutes this season being one of the primary options off Real's bench. However, he hasn't been an important player and he wasn't even included in Real Madrid's list for the last home game against Rayo Vallecano, a match in which he could've featured.
All things considered, it is not surprising to see rumors suggesting that Jesé could leave the club this winter. Arsenal are apparently interested in the attacker, who could thrive in the Premier League's pace. He is healthy and ready to play and he needs more minutes to develop as a player. It's true that Arsenal are contending for the Premier League title and Jesé should fight to earn his minutes, but Wenger would most likely play him more often than Benítez.
