Jesé did not want to play in the left-back position against Villarreal?

Jesé wasn't even on the bench during Real's 10-2 win against Rayo Vallecano and the Spanish press is suggesting that Rafa Benítez is not happy with his attitude following Madrid 1-0 loss at Villarreal two weekends ago. According to a report from AS, Benítez wanted to introduce Jesé as the team's left-back when Marcelo was forced to leave the game but the Spanish attacker said he did not want to play that position.

In the end, Gareth Bale used his experience as a left-back and ended up being Marcelo's replacement. Jesé played upfront and he had his way, if AS' report is accurate.

Jesé could be on his way out of Real Madrid if the latest reports are accurate. Apparently, Arsenal would be interested in his talents and the attacker wants to leave to play relevant minutes elsewhere. He completed a good pre-season with Real Madrid and proved that he had recovered from the worrying ACL injury he suffered two seasons ago, but Benítez hasn't given him as many minutes as Jesé initially wanted.
