According to Footyheadlines, this will be Real Madrid's home kit for the 2016-2017 season. And it looks very good.
Here's what they say about it:
In a quest to celebrate the club's rich history and strong roots, the Real Madrid 16-17 home kit boasts a very traditional design in white and purple, the most iconic alternative color of Los Merengues. Made by Adidas, the Real Madrid 2016-2017 kit boasts a very classy and traditional design, inspired by the very first shirts worn by Los Blancos in the early 1900s. A white base (officially Crystal White) is combined with subdued accents in purple (Ray Purple) and blue, while the Emirates sponsor logo on the front of the new Real Madrid home shirt is black.
A traditional polo collar rounds off the look of the Real Madrid 2016-17 home kit, which is set to be combined with shorts and socks of the same style. The outer back of the collar of the Real Madrid 16-17 jersey will read the club name and also show a purple color block.
The new Adidas Real Madrid home shirt stands in stark contrast to the last few Real Madrid home kits which featured bold new accent colors for the most part. The last Real Madrid away kit to boast purple as secondary color was the 2007-08 Real Madrid home kit.
As always with such early leaks, some design elements of the new Real Madrid 16-17 home kit could change between now and the release, just as it was the case with the current Real Madrid kit.
Do you like this early leak? Would you change anything?
