Miralem Pjanic could join Real Madrid

The Bosnian midfielder might be on his way out of AS Roma.

Representatives from Real Madrid have had a meeting with Miralem Pjanic's father to ask about his availability. At least, that is what Marca are reporting today.

Per that same report, Real would be competing with another teams for the signing of the midfielder and it could be necessary to pay Pjanic's buyout clause -- €45 million --. Madrid will be playing against Roma in the Champions League's Round of 16 but that has not stopped their interest in the midfielder, whose future could be decided in the next few days if this report is accurate.

Real Madrid would be trying to improve the team but Pjanic's role seems unclear. He's a creative midfielder and Madrid have enough talent there with Modric, Kroos, Kovacic and Casemiro. He could also play behind the striker but James and Isco are also available for that spot, so it would be hard to find room for Pjanic in the current roster, although he is obviously an interesting player.
